Set Up Your Blog
QuickGuide Setting Up Your Own Blog
My wish is that this will help you setting up your blog as fast as possible. This is a very short instruction with my recommendations. Please let me know if you get stucked somwhere in the installing process.
At the bottom you will find videos helping you more in detail how to set up your blog. The videos also shows how to choose and install a WordPress theme. A theme is the layout, look and feel of your blog.
HOSTING YOUR BLOG AT WORDPRESS (no own domain name)
If you want to have a blog up and running in only a few minutes, you can go to www.wordpress.com and sign up for free.
WordPress is a powerful blog open source software.
The option having your blog set up at WordPress will make your blog little limited and you dont have your own domain name that is needed for real business. Anyway this option is good to choose to get to learn the blog tool.
Two more good things are that it is totally free and you will be indexed at WordPress.

YOUR BLOG WITH YOUR OWN DOMAIN NAME
You will choose this option if you are going to build real business. You will choose your own domain name. The web adress will be www.YourName.com.
Take some time to think what domain name you want. Maybe you want to have your product/service as your domain name. Try to have it as short as possible and choose only .com addresses.
These are the steps to take:
1. Register for hosting and domain name. You will choose your domain name and have storing/hosting of your web/blog files. I recommend HostGator for hosting and domain registration company. Good prizing, good support and have unlimited bandwith.
You are free to use any other hosting company. But the hosting must have the Cpanel and Fantastico for installing the blog software. It is easy to install, only needed one click. The only issue is to find where to do this.
You may feel lost if you are totally new for dealing with hosting accounts and domain names. But when you start using your hosting account you will learn what it is about. No technical skills are needed.
2. As another alternative you can register your domain name at NameCheap. This will create one extra setting for your blog to function (connection with domain name to the hosting company). Positive is that NameCheap is cheaper. But no big savings. But if ending up with many doman names it will be some savings. Cost is 10$ a year for one domain name.
3. Then you will login in to your cPanel. Link is www.YourDomain.com/cpanel. Scroll down on the first page to software/services and choose Fantastico De Luxe. Then you will be able to install your WordPress blog with only one click. Download video 1 below for more details.
4. Login to your admin area for your blog on www.YourDomain.com/wp-admin. Here you can set up your blog, write blog posts, approve comments and more. More detail is to be found in video 2, download below.
Tip! Keep yourself organized with collecting all links, user names, passwords, domain names, etc in a text file. This will save you a lot of time. Keep it on a safe place and also that you easily can get the information. A free software for collecting and protecting your passwords and usernames is KeePass.

I’ve heard that Alex Jeffreys is launching a new Coaching Program this week but it will be very expensive?
Why would you recommend Alex as a coach rather than other people like Michael Cheney, or Rich Schefren?
Been following Alex for a while now and enjoyed ‘The Gurus Dream’.
Have you made any money since you did Alex’s Coaching.
Will I get my money back if I sign up.
Amy?
