Planning Is Critical For Alex Jeffreys Success

January 14th, 2009

Alex Jeffreys may have been a drop out of school and controlled by drugs..

..but with his burning desire to be something more than a misery boy, he got energy transforming himself to a well organized businessman.

The journey have not been easy. Especially in the beginning. But when reaching a certain level in his business it was easier working smart and not hard.

If you are passionate and aligned with the business you are in - the hard work will not feel hard. It is critical finding your passion in what you do. The result will be better and you will have the energy needed.

Planning is so important. The effect from planning is:
You will get more done in short time
You will do the work that makes most profit
You will be open for and see new opportunities
You will make your goals more clear
It automates your energy being aligned towards your success

>>>

The more your business grow the more planning you will have to do and you also want to do it. It may be more difficult to plan in the beginning because you don’t know how your business will develope.

With more time for analyze you will be able to find how you should work.

My mistakes
The first thing you will do when you start up is to file all your information..

Due to lack of planning I have made big mistakes in the beginning. I have not organized user names, sites with tools, resources, information, contacts etc. And still today I’m very unorganized. Now I have more work than before and don’t have much time to organize and plan.

The main thing that caused this problem is that I have been working on different computers. Even before Alex Jeffreys coaching. I have files here and there. I should have brought with me a mobile hard drive to work from every time. Now I only work from one computer and I am slowly getting organized. Piezes are put together.

But before I’m fully organized I have to write down my plan and goal settings. From there it will be easier to be fully organized.

Alex Jeffreys made his success in a very short time. Everyone have this possibility. It is even easier to make the success fast. Don’t go slow if you are passionate in what you do.

Jump in your work and go with it. You will have a great journey.

See earlier blog post about Alex Jeffreys Post Launch Profits if you want to read more about how to start your business. He reveals his journey to success with internet marketing.

Update: I just now arrived from Alex Jeffreys blog. Alex also wrote or made a video about planning.. A small coincidence.

Maybe it’s a double warning that I must take time for planning and organizing.

    Hey Ali,
I could not agree with you more. I find if I do not do my daily did sheet I will just go about my day winging it with no direction. You do have to have some kind of goal to keep your self disciplined. It is very hard to sometimes get your self out of bed on your days off from work to work on your goals,If you do not push your self you will just be going through the motions of day to day with out and objective in mind. I try and push my self to get up and work on my blog knowing that there is a brighter future for me and my family at the end.

Talk to you soon John http://www.jjbullard.com

    Hi John

thanks for your reply. It is a good help for me listening to others in same situation.

I push myself, but as it is now I’m in a small flow that makes it fun with internet marketing.

Only problem is to follow the to do list. I want to do everything at the same time. Another problem is that I work best in night time which means that I have lack of sleeping time.

Thanks Alex Jeffreys for reducing my sleeping time.

    Best wishes
    /Ali

Hi Ali, I certainly do see myself in what you are saying about being organized. I am guilty of NOT being organized, at least regarding my use of time. I have finally pulled myself up and just today started by putting my 2009 goals up on my whiteboard by the side of my working space. I have also put my goals for January and February, hopefully realistic goals. I have also made myself a daily timetable and am going to make myself stick to it because I definitely have wasted too much time being diverted by things which will not make me money. There is so much to see on the net, even other blogs, that it is all too easy to get sidetracked, but I am determined that all that is going to stop as of now. I would be interested to hear from you about how you are coping with your ‘to do’ list and whether you can stop yourself being a ‘night owl’, I suffer from that syndrome also.

Thanks Paull, it feels good that we are some fellows in the same situation. We have to push each other forwards. Good thing is that the internet marketing work is interesting and fun.

I must truly thank Alex Jeffreys for his magic touch. I have never thought about starting up as I have done until today.

I also have to thank all fellow students of Alex Jeffreys. What a great team and a fantastic mix of all kind of people. It is great power.

    Sincerely, Ali

    Hi Ali
I’m finding the same problem, no planning. So I am just doing my plan now. It was difficult in the begining as I couldn’t plan for something I knew nothing about. I now understand about “failing forward” I have learnt the importance of planning by failing to do it.
    all the best
