Is Google A Rune Stone?

December 23rd, 2008

When I was bicycling home in the dark from the office I saw the moon light up an old rune stone (but I think it is a copy of the real) beside the path. That info is still there, I thought. It will take time to change that info.

Are the search engines rune stones?
The rune stone is very similar to Google or the other search engines. When it is needed to build new houses, the rune stone stop that project. “No no we cannot build any houses here, the rune stone has taken this place” Save the old for the future, but is it useful?

The same thing is happening in the search engines. For example, I have an old site that I have not done anything to for about 1-2 years now. And it is still in top 10 in Google.

Alex Jeffreys new search engine
Maybe Alex Jeffreys next project is a new fresh search engine. I hope some of the search engines algorithm deletes those web sites that have not been updated the last year. And then I mean delete the web site totally from internet and then it will be open for a new owner to build a new fresh place. This will clean up the web and keep it young and fresh. “What about the oldies??”

Happy for the “crap” sites
It is maybe not the future scenario that the search engines are not like rune stones. And I think we in Alex Jeffreys coaching team should be very happy that there are a lot of “crap” sites. Why?? (coming later)

See you later, must prepare for Christmas now and sleep, we celebrate tomorrow.

I wish you all a Healthy Wealthy Christmas //Ali

Alex Jeffreys, Search Engines

  1. December 23rd, 2008 at 23:56 | #1

    Hi Ali,

Hope you are fine and in the very best of health, snap.. oh yes, guess what? we have the same theme. I am one of Alex jeffrey’s student , I was on the fortunate 500 site and discoverd your site there, hey man I don’t know how you guys get so much on your sites! great stuff.

Anyway I have been looking around on fellow students everyone is doing fab, I need some help!!! and advice on how to get the blogroll going on my site so I can add everyone else on and also the optin-box what is the best way to get that in. Also any general advise you can give me will be great.
I will be very greatful and appreciative.

BTW I hope Alex does come up with some great search engine technique I think we need it. Also do look out for the young little girls as it can get cold over in sweeden and best wishes to kids and family hope it’s a prosperous new year for all of us.

    Regards.

    Hi Mo,

thanks for popping by. I seems that we are brothers. Nice. But I think I will change theme, if I find some clean version. (This does not work good in Explorer 6, but no many use that version anymore).

It is strange suddenly the blog is full of information, it is step by step, you dont se yourself grow.

I read about your daughter, she has a good big heart. Everyone have it.. if we find ourselves. It is difficult to raise kids I think, it is an experiment. (I am not raised myself almost)

I only copied my blog roll from Garry Parkes blog and pasted in my WP page.

I use Aweber for the optin form and then I use the text widget in the WordPress theme. There I paste the web form code from Aweber. I have not myself used aweber so much, but it is easy to make an web form, but it is also easy to be confused. I can show you how to do it if you not already have done a form.

I wish you all a Healty Happy Christmas

    Hello Ali

Thanks very much for visiting my http://AlanNeath.com blog and leaving a comment, naturally i have added you to my blog roll of Alex Jeffreys students.

Looking around all the students including your own pages it is amazing to see the rich diversity and knowledge being shared.

I agree with you that the internet does seem to have a lot of outdated and worthless websites, but i feel that the techniques now being taught by Alex which i have adopted on all my websites will see a change in how websites are rated and ranked by both search engines and more importantly, the people who visit and read them.

    Have a great Christmas.
    Alan

    Hi Michael

it is true that many sites that have not been updated for months or years that still are on top in the search results. But it is possible to make fresh searches with Google (for example) if choosing advanced search..
