Yesterday I got a motivational message from Alex Jeffreys. He had a meeting with his coach Rich Schefren. Rich asked Alex to speak to his 100 students there. Alex were one of Rich Schefrens most active and agressive students. The students were blown away by his speech.

Alex Jeffrey is no one special, or maybe more right is to say that we all are special. Anyway we all have the same opportunity and everyone can succeed with the right mindset. Take Alex journey for example. He got the same coaching as the all other students. No special skills. He only took action and used the proven system.

And maybe you wonder what is happening on my blog? I have run out of energy for my blog these last weeks due to sick family. All energy have been used for my offline office job and my sick family. We have never been this sick before (it is a long lasting flu, we are all coughing like crazy).

At last for this blog post I have to say that everyone from the beginner to the top internet marketer have something of value that will make the business successful. But the beginner have to learn the system before becoming successful. When the foundation is built success will be easy.

Business is simple, people make it difficult. But at the very beginning it will be confusing before finding and understanding how to follow the system.

And everyone will always have the opportunity becoming the “guru” people want to follow or it is enough being a top internet marketer. See what happend with Alex Jeffreys. Rich Schefren is learning from Alex marketing strategies. This will happen again for students that take action.

Alex Jeffreys last webinar Tripple Threat Affiliate was well worth loosing a good night sleep for. Or not? I have been totally offline for more than a week now. No online work. I have got some strange pain in my throat and feel that I have to sleep more.

And whole family is sick. Our two daughters are coughing badly right now while they’re sleeping. Think it will be no office work tomorrow. The flu has caught us.

Use autoresponders, follow up emails for building your relationship with your list. Send out broadcast emails for special announcements.

Aweber have the service needed for email marketing. You can make unlimited follow up emails, send broadcast messages to all your leads. Aweber have also statistics if the receiver opens the email and click the link in the email. This will help you improve your messages and also help you divide your receivers into different groups. You will then have the opportunity writing more individually to each group.

Writing a diary of your journey is important. It is hard for yourself to see your own progress.

I missed Alex video competition. But I have anyway made a short video as a test. It is non informative, it is only some shots from my sorroundings. More like a nature movie. I think my computer also got a slice of the flu, because it had to work hard to save this small video. Therefore I only made one first unclean version.

Today 23rd January my position in Google with the keyword Alex Jeffreys was 21st. Yesterday it was over 60th place. Something with my changes have made these improvements.

I have made many mistakes with search engine optimization with the keywords. But it have been good training. I’m failing forward and some results appears.

Mistakes have occured due to what you can do with the WordPress blog-softare (and what you cannot do) compared with an ordinary web site.

Problem implementing keywords in the H1 tag
I see a problem with that all blog post pages get the same title, AliBlogging - Alex Jeffreys .. - the name of my blog in the heading image. I don’t know how much this influence the keyword ranking. As it is now I can only have the same H1 heading tag for all blog post pages titles. Which means I will have problem to make optimal search engine optimization for other keywords than my blog title words. See earlier blog post about Basic Search Engine Optimization if needed to know more about the meta tags in the header, I have not yet made for the body (the information on the pages).

I mixed up the settings in the SEO-pack and settings in the blog
I mixed up the seo setup in the “All in SEO pack” and the settings for the blog. The blogs title that is the heading text on all blog pages is changed in the settings for the blog. And the settings for only the main title, that is shown on top of the web browsers, is changed directly in the the SEO pack plugin. I missed this setting in the SEO pack. This setting is shown in the search engines results as the link. This is very important and basic. (this text may be little difficult to understand, it’s easier when you are in your blog admin area and do it)

I have changed to only showing exerpts, intros from the blog posts on the main page. This is important, do you know why?

I do not show my tags because I used Alex Jeffreys as tag and also as a category. When having the keyword Alex Jeffreys both as tag and category creates too many links with the keyword. I must think about how to organize and categorize better. I made some small changes yesterday, but nothing that makes any change for my position for the search engines.

I also corrected my mistake mixing the settings for the SEO pack and the settings for the blog (see above).

Change that I have not made
Also good if possible to arrange all blog post in 2 levels + top level. Maybe it is fine as the WordPress blog software is designed. But for ordinary webpages this is very good help for better ranking.

Search engine ranking after this blog post
As long as you’re not in top ten you must do something about it. I will se if this blog post make any changes. I will keep on testing even if it happens I loose my positions.

Alex Jeffreys is not a high competitive keyword. It should be quite easy to get in top ten. But we are many students that are working with getting high position with the same keyword. It is also volatile goes up and down. Should not be tweaking. Instead focusing on creating more content.

It is not about mixing flesh and blood. It is about mixing your own skills and qualities with all knowledge and qualities that are in Alex Jeffreys syndicate.

How do you mix the knowledge?
Simply keep yourself updated and active within the coaching group. Consistently build your blog. Not needed massive action. But if you have time for massive action you will se your blog transform to real business very fast. But most common is building the blog and business step by step. Your business will grow consistently when you keep up your pace.

In the beginning you feel separated from the group with knowledge. It is many new things that are difficult to understand. But when you start to implement and live with the group you will grow.

Where is Alex Jeffreys?
Alex have been away on vacation and work. During this time he should have made his plans for this year. I’m looking forward for next webinar. There have been a lot of activity among us student even if Alex have been gone. I think this have been the most productive period for the coaching group. I hope it will continue.

There’s a lot of buzz around Alex Jeffreys. Most of the buzz are positive. But there are as usual a lot of negative buzz. Many are negative because it’s their characteristics. This is not strange.

Negative world
We are negatively influenced most of the time. The media don’t write many positive news. They want to write about the worst scenarios with sticky details for attracting readers. This influence us such as negative people around us. For most people growth has been influenced by the negative. Parents say don’t do that and that.. Negativity is deeply stucked inside us.

When we are bombarded with negative news such as violence, war, poverty etc we get stuck in fear. This stop us from being open for happiness and opportunities. We end up in procrastination and anxiety. Read more…

I skimmed through all notes and understand that it is difficult to make it short. I also got stucked and started to re-learn. But good to be updated.
