AWeber - Email Marketing Software For Your Email Lists
I’m writing this today because yesterday I discovered that the email forms were not working!!
Strange, because AWeber, is known to be stable and reliable.
Today I found out that AWeber have done som major updates with the software. Why have we not been informed about the updates and the down time of the software?
What is AWeber then?
AWeber is an email marketing software. You manage your email lists with this software.
When a visitor sign up for your newsletter, free eBook and more they will fill your web form. You will then have all your visitors email addresses collected in a database at AWeber.
You can choose to have your email form in many options such as pop-up, exit pop-up, pop-under etc. You can choose to collect other details than email addresses. >>>
Most of Alex Jeffreys students use AWeber and also Alex Jeffreys himself. But there are other alternatives to choose.
Autoresponders
When you have your email list you can use autoresponders. This means that you can create ready made email messages that are emailed automatically.
An example: When a visitor sign up for your newsletter you can choose to send them a first welcome email. After one week you may have decided that the next pre made email message will be sent. The third will be sent 5 days after the second. And so on.
It is also possible to send ordinary email messages to your lists. You can choose to have only text messages or html messages.
Poitive and negative with AWeber
The most important with using web forms and sending the email messages is that the service/software is stable and reliable with no downtime. AWeber is known being reliable and stable.
Negative with the AWeber service is the slow respons time . The site pages loads not so fast. It is also little difficult to format the text in the web forms exactly how you want it to look.
At last the realibility is most critical. I would like to have an explanation why we have not been informed about the down time.

Thank you for your post. I personally have experienced major problems related to Aweber forms not loading on all my blogs for much of today (Jan 16) and yesterday (Jan 15). All web pages with Aweber forms are loading incredibly slow. When a form is removed the page then loads superfast. My friend Jerry experienced problems with a blog broadcast not going out as scheduled a few days ago.

thanks for your info. Seems that the problem has been for a longer time than yesterday. I only saw the problem yesterday. Also some other blogs web forms were not working. I also experienced the slow loading of the web pages with forms. Good that we bring this up. I will check later with AWeber if they have any information about this problem. I think this occured due to the updates in the software. I have not experienced it before
