Alex Jeffreys traffic generation competition
Alex Jeffreys traffic generation competition started last week. But I dont know exactly the rules. Anyway the only thing I have added this weekend is Zimbio and Squidoo pages about internet marketing. And I can already see results in the search engines. Of course I cannot be in top of the most competitive keywords already. And driving traffic is not instant with this method, it will slowly grow, I think.
I have also forgot to include the Google Analytics code to the theme I’m using now and then it will be difficult to be in the competition due to no statistics for the traffic.
I have now also fixed the Search Engine Optimization pack for WordPress. I had earlier problems with duplicated meta tags for the “Description” and “Keywords”. This is now fixed and there are no longer duplicated meta tags for keywords and description. The only thing to do was to delete those meta tags in the header.php file for the theme I am using. Contact me if you also need to do this and cannot find out how.
I’m not satisfied with this Theme. It is ok, but there are details that I would like to change etc. But most important is to get things done, such as writing down the content that should be on the blog. Problem is now that I try to do everything at the same time and the result is nothing is done. Only a little here and there.
Most important is following Alex Jeffreys strategies. It is many things to do. It is not difficult. Important is to have a plan and stay focused.

Good to see you’re moving on with the competition. I’ve been thinking of setting up squidoo lens myself so interesting to see that you can see the results already. However, I do think that most things will take longer than the 2 weeks we’ve been given, should have been a month at this time of year. I also think it takes longer time to get results. But I am little amazed that the good results of the ranking of our blogs in the search engines.
